Dawn L. Langley-Brady MSN, RN, AHN-BC, CHPN, CCAP is a
Certified Clinical Aromatherapy Practitioner. She is also a registered
nurse with more than 24 years of nursing experience. She holds a Master’s of
Science in Nursing Degree, is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International,
the National Honor Society of Nursing, and is a graduate of Excelsior College,
Augusta State University, University of Phoenix and the East West School
of Herbal and Aromatic Studies.
Dawn is a Board Certified Advanced Holistic Nurse, a nationally
Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse and is the leader (president) of
the CSRA Chapter of the American Holistic Nurses Association. Dawn is also an
instructor for Georgia Regents University - College of Nursing and a
As of August 2013, she is also a student at Georgia Regents University in the PhD in nursing program. Her dissertation research will be 'aromatherapy for reduction of chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain.'
Dawn is a devoted wife and mother of three wonderful
sons. She is an avid supporter of numerous environmental and wildlife
organizations and is an awarded volunteer for Boy Scouts of America through the
Georgia-Carolina Council. Dawn served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve
for more than ten years and served on active duty during Desert Shield and
Desert Storm in 1991.
One of her goals is to open a Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Management Center to enhance the lives of those who suffer from fibromyalgia and other forms of chronic pain through the use of complementary and alternative therapies including Aromatherapy, Guided Imagery, Laughter Therapy, Massage Therapy, Music Therapy, Nutrition Therapy, Physical Therapy, Tai Chi, Warm Water Aerobics, and Yoga.
